Seasonal affective disorder

Do you find yourself impacted by seasonal affective (SAD) disorder?

This is definitely something that affects me every winter.  The cold makes me want to stay indoors and cuddle up under a blanket.  I really don't do well with the cold weather.  Also, the fewer hours of sunlight frustrate me, as I just want to stay in bed until the sun comes up.

These wants are really not an option in this world.  I have to get up early, five days a week, to go to work.  I have to drag myself out of bed each day, until the sun starts to return.  I have to drive to work in the cold.  I even have to clean the car off of ice and snow sometimes.

I realize that many might think these are minor issues, but for me it's a true struggle, and I'd rather be honest about that.  I know I'm not alone and I want others impacted by SAD to know that what they are going through is real.  There is nothing wrong with that.  We each have our own journeys, and mine seems to be dealing with SAD each winter.
